Steady Support.
Rights Focused.
Child Centered.

When school is not working for your child, you feel it before anyone else names it.

IEPs. 504 plans. Evaluations. Meetings. Paperwork that gets louder while your child gets lost in the process.

SRC Edvocates & Co. helps families get clear, get prepared, and advocate for support that reflects the child in front of the team.

We can help!

Start with a free 45 minute consultation.

Bring the questions, the paperwork, the worry, or just the feeling that something is not working.

We will sort through what is happening, identify at least one next right step for you to take after our call, and talk through advocacy options and pricing before any paid support begins.

Meet Stephanie, your Advocate

Stephanie is the founder of SRC Edvocates & Co.,  a special education advocacy practice that helps caregivers and families navigate IEPs, 504 plans, BIPs, evaluations, accommodations, supports, services, school meetings, and parent concerns with clarity and confidence.

She brings 13 years of special education experience and has participated in more than 350 IEP meetings.

Her background includes special education advocacy, childhood cancer advocacy, austism advocacy, public service, policy development, nonprofit leadership, financial operations, systems work, and family support. She is a member of COPAA, NASET, and CEC, and stays connected to the professional learning and standards that shape strong advocacy.

Stephanie has also served in leadership roles with multiple nonprofits and as a member of the Hematology and Oncology Family Advisory Board at Arkansas Children’s Hospital, where she helps bring the family voice into conversations about care, communication, and support.

Her work is grounded in preparation, pattern recognition, collaborative communication, and the belief that every child deserves to be seen clearly and understood fully by the education team supporting them.

How SRC Edvocates & Co. Can Support Your Family

IEP & 504 Plan Review

I review IEPs and 504 plans with a careful, child-centered lens to help families understand what is working, what may be missing, and what questions to bring back to the school team. Recommendations are tailored to your child’s strengths, needs, and current school experience.

Support at School Meetings

I support parents before and during IEP, 504, FBA, BIP, and other school meetings so they feel prepared, organized, and heard. My role is to help keep the conversation focused, collaborative, and centered on your child's needs.

Initial IEP or 504 Support

If you believe your child may need an IEP or 504 plan, I help you understand the process, organize your concerns, prepare requests, and identify what information may be needed to support your child.

Transition Planning Support

I help families think through important school transitions, including grade-level changes, school moves, post-secondary planning, and supports needed for greater independence, access, and success.

Navigating Public School

I help parents better understand the special education process, parent rights, school responsibilities, timelines, documentation, and how to communicate clearly with the school team from the school building to the district level.

High Expectations & Student Growth

I believe students with disabilities deserve meaningful support, high expectations, dignity, and the opportunity to build independence. Advocacy should not only address what is hard, it should also protect what is possible.

Advocacy Support in School Meetings & Dispute Preparation

I support families during IEP, 504, FBA, BIP, and other school-based meetings by helping parents stay organized, communicate clearly, ask meaningful questions, and keep the student’s needs at the center. For more formal dispute matters, such as mediation, state complaints, or due process-related concerns, I can help families organize documents, prepare questions, clarify concerns, and determine when it may be appropriate to consult a special education attorney.
